Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), Pune has been recognized as a Nodal Centre for the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO Outreach Programme. This recognition strengthens PCCoE’s commitment to promoting education, skill development, and research in space science and geospatial technologies.
Through this programme, PCCoE facilitates online courses, workshops, and live interactive sessions conducted by scientists and experts from IIRS and ISRO. The programme provides students, faculty members, and researchers with opportunities to enhance their knowledge in Remote Sensing (RS), GIS, GNSS, and allied space technology applications.
Most courses are free of cost, and eligible participants receive Merit Certificates from IIRS–ISRO upon successful completion. The initiative provides valuable exposure to emerging technologies and supports the development of industry-relevant skills, research capabilities, and interdisciplinary knowledge at PCCoE.
