Welcome to Department of Civil Engineering

Civil engineering a cornerstone of modern infrastructure development was introduced as a discipline at PCCOE, Nigdi, from Academic Year 2012-13. With a steadfast commitment to offer exemplarily Ethical, Sustainable and Value added quality education with academic excellence, the department has continually evolved to meet the dynamic demands of the Construction Industry. Committed to shaping versatile professionals, the department proudly offers a comprehensive NBA accredited (UG and PG): Bachelor's Degree program in Civil Engineering with intake of 60 and an M.Tech. program in Construction Management, catering to 18 aspiring professionals. We have PhD-Civil research Centre also. Since 2020 we are Autonomous Institute.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include meticulously equipped 13 laboratories covering essential domains such as Construction Management, Structural Design, Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, and Geotechnical-Transportation Engineering. From hands-on training to cutting-edge research opportunities, we provide an immersive learning environment that empowers our undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students to excel and innovate in the field of civil engineering. The department has 14+ MoU with different Industries along with centre of excellence for: 3D Concrete printing Lab and Transportation Lab.

With qualified and experienced faculty from all the core domains of Civil Engineering we excel in academics, research and development and industry institute interactions for further development of our students in all the areas like Knowledge-Skill-Attitude.

As a result of all this, we have Academic rank holders since first batch 2016 to last batch 2023 at SPPU level, good number of MPSC selections, private core company placements, higher study (ME/MTech/MS) and entrepreneurs.
